90% of materials are currently wasted*. This is despite many best efforts to recycle and re-use goods. This is not sustainable in a world where resources are becoming scarcer. 

 

Lyfe2 supports both the NHS Trusts and Local Authorities to achieve their own internal organisational circularity and sustainability goals, reducing waste, saving money and actually profiting from eco-credentials — a win-win scenario for the government, people and the planet.

A product - office, machines, equipment or warehousing materials, tools, or IT hardware is used - it's first life.

But then, for whatever reason, it’s no longer required....but.... It’s in good condition so why not re-use it by sending it to another Trust or Local Authority?

HOW?

The Lyfe2 platform enables full visibility of what is available in storage -

• OFFER Create a local catalogue of used items on the Lyfe2 portal. Upload photographs, a description, condition, location and technical data.

• REQUIRED Before buying an item, search the catalogue. Request the item, transport and re-use.

• REPORT AND TRACK > The money saved or recouped and

•                                      > The CO2 emissions savings - no landfill and no re-buying (production CO2) ​
